Added 2023-10-24 13:33:51 +0000 UTCIt's a shame that Disney's last adaptation of John Carter of Mars failed so badly 10 years ago at the box office due to internal problems and marketing (If you don't know the story, search for it on Google and you will be surprised by the misfortune that this saga has always had trying to be adapted to cinema).
I think it was a good family adventure film and I would have loved them to adapt more of the Barsoom stories by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
Have you seen John Carter (you have it on Disney+)? What do you think about it?

Loved the movie. I had just finished reading the series but did not immediately recognized that the movie was based on the novels because, well, John Carter was rarely called John Carter in the novels. So I thought it was a terrible title for the movie. As others said, it was a real shame the movie failed.
