Skinny, athletic, curvy... each decade has his own beauty standards and of course there is no body type more correct than another; but aesthetically I love the type of women that Frank Frazetta drew.
His lines and scenes are an influence on my way of conceiving erotic forms and how to model for geeky-boudoir photography.
His style has also been a big influence on other great characters. To create Princess Leia's iconic metallic bikini, the Star Wars costume designer admitted in an interview that she was totally inspired by Frazetta's work. There is something in those voluptuous, warrior women very attractive in a very primal way... It's a fantasy of beauty but also of power.
In this same style there are several characters that I want to cosplay and create photo shoots for Patreon. They are all sexy characters that remind me of this particular vision of Frazetta women, with this dangerous and pulp touch. Today I want to share this little gallery that I have compiled with some of them (yep, I want to cosplay all), and also a few Frank Frazetta's illustrations.
The characters in gallery order:
-Dejah Thoris, Princess of Mars (originally from "Barsoom book series" by Edgar Rice Burroughs and now her own comicbooks saga)
-Vampirella
-Taarna from Heavy Metal animated movie (also Heavy Metal magazine and comics)
-Princess Leia (the metal bikini version)
-Barbarella, the new version from the new comicbooks (I also want to cosplay the classic movie version)
Any predilection from this characters selection?
Do you have any other characters in mind you think fit this kind of sexy, pulp heroine description? ;)
