ah now that you said it's my brain is putting it all together. There were a lot more foreshadowing with him getting spooked in the dark and all the jump scares even since season 1.

Irina is young and impulsive and has an inflated sense of maturity, while Eve seems to lack the ability to sense danger and act accordingly. If anything, Villanelle is like a spark in a room filled with gas.

2025-06-17 03:56:55 +0000 UTCI remember thinking Konstantin was going to have a heart attack earlier in the season when Villanelle jumped out of his bed and scared him. He grabbed his chest and told her it wasn't good for his heart. I don't know if that was foreshadowing or just a coincidence.

2025-06-17 03:43:03 +0000 UTCI do think the show peaked here...it's just beautiful and a very PWB ending. That said, I do think S4 is worth a watch. I would've been happy ending it here with an open ending about what happens next but really only in hindsight - it's a poetic ending kind of like fleabag. BUT I was ravenous after watching this and would've been sooo upset not to get more. This is the fairy tale ending....now in S4 we get reality. Interested to see what you think! Also, random fact: the song at the end is performed by Saoirse Ronan....for a different movie called Lost River...which was directed by Ryan Gosling. I remember looking that up at the time and finding that trail to be intriguing...idk why.
