2025-05-16 15:17:42 +0000 UTCi get where you’re coming from re: shiv being given this alluded cheating storyline but i’m actually ok with the way it’s written here so far - she has agency and other things going on i mean her main arc this episode was career driven - in general i feel like if the audience at large can’t handle a complex woman (and witness her having lust) then that’s on them and writers shouldn’t avoid exploring certain flaws because of it, all part of being human after all otherwise it would feel too "convenient" here if that makes sense? with all the siblings shown to have complicated even toxic experiences and behaviors with sex/romantic partners, her being the only woman + the only one spared, behaving totally "healthily" in that department would feel off and borderline purity-agenda to me didn’t mean to write alladat lol but i’m enjoying rewatching this show with you!!

Gerri always knows which way to move because she's smart as a whip and reads everything in the moment. The part of the meeting that really speaks to me is the acting of Roman (Kieran Culkin) and Kendall (Jeremy Strong) -- Roman is all hunched over in his chair and can't even look at his father -- when Logan yells at Kendall, he steps back, head bowed -- both of them like little boys. Logan is this monster and has been their whole lives. It's fascinating to see them retreat to that behavior and dynamic. Oh, and I wanted to clarify (if needed) that Willa is actually a professional escort. So Connor pays her to be with him and then is essentially asking that they be exclusive and he will help support her theater career. P.S. Hannibal made eating ortolan much more attractive than Tom and Greg. LOL.
