My first hangover was horrendous. I had motion sickness for two days. I don't remember even eating. I just slept the entire time. I absolutely hated it. That was my worst hangover. Ever since if I drink I also have water and food. I try to eliminate the possibility of hangover.

You might have a headache. But if you got derpy drunk, imagine your skull being replaced with steel wool and exposure to light causes it to rub against fragile nerve endings, sending needle jolts into your retinas. Your head is in a vice that tightens when you move and the jaw plates are pressing against your temples. Your body is a heavy balloon that jitters and jolts on the inside, threatening to expel the contents of your stomach if you breathe too hard and you’re both hungry and not hungry.

The world is too loud. You’re tired because you passed out but got no rest. Your body is achy and sometimes you have a fever. It’s basically a flu in a bottle and it’s awful and it’s why perhaps the most important symptom of a hangover is saying “I’m never drinking again”
