Considering the impact that this movie had on pop culture, I am impressed you didn't have it more spoiled than "What in the box?!" which is a pretty big spoiler. I had a friend spoil Fight Club in a similar way, with a offhanded comment, that was just enough to ruin the surprise. This movie trained generations to look for that kind of evil twist. I have watched like 15 different reactions to Arcane season 1. In the final scene at Jinx's dinner party, in most of the reactions someone alludes to the "What's in box?!" scene when Jinx brings out the cupcake. We have been damaged by David Fincher.

The first time I watched this film and now again watching, his character reminded me of Hannibal Lecter with his twisted psychological complexities....and so smug and self-satisfied, analytical, fearless, composed to the very end.
