In the UK it’s normal to have outdoor cats and many people think it’s cruel to keep them indoors, so in the context of the show she’s supposed to be doing a good thing. I agree that they’re safer indoors though!

I can guarantee you after she’s done playing and having some fun, especially in a rich neighborhood he will be turned over to Humane Society for life mine 19-year-old cat who has a chip in her will be returned home to me. This is not a feral cat. She is a domesticated cat that knows exactly where she lives. Her scent is all over it she’ll either return on her own or her wealthy neighbors will bring her home to her owner. Either way it made me feel joyful she had time to be free. Be a cat. I’m sure he’ll be just fine. Is it something I would do no as I live in Alaska and long before car with the poor Cat an eagle would catch her or other natural environmental issues may befall her. I just thought it was a funny moment in the movie. I’m sorry you took it very personally. It was not my intent to hurt your feelings or advocate for abuse of animals. 2024-10-22 04:19:32 +0000 UTCWhen fleabag outed her sister, it was not really an ambush as much as it was a as my grandpa would say “shit or get off the pot” moment something to shake her out of her indecision to fight for her own dreams instead of doing what is expected of her. at least that’s what I got from that scene. And I love that the cat who’s always wanted to be free and be a cat and climb up the tree that bitch of a stepmom had her father cut down the tree. See the cat scratching at the window to get out, can you imagine being the cat of a woman who cares nothing about anything other than herself? I’m happy for the cat. It finally gets to be a cat. Not a pet.

2024-10-22 04:14:48 +0000 UTCWhat a wonderful Monday treat! Can’t wait for you to see the S1 finale and then especially get into season 2. The show somehow gets better when you didn’t think it could be any more perfect. I don’t know if anyone has given you the Fleabag lore yet but Phoebe Waller Bridge started this as a one-woman play, where she played all of these parts and the entire play was what we see in season 1. Then the TV show was such a success, she was asked back for a season 2 and boy did she deliver. After the series completed, she did a final performance of the one-woman play broadcast to cinemas across the country and I went to see it. The woman is such a genius.
