It gave me a great insight to Hannibal that for anyone who hasnβt watched them or read, the books would not see the nuances of this Hannibal or motivations. This Hannibal tracks very neatly, seamlessly into the Hannibal of the series of books. I preferred the books of the movies as they were more nuanced. But certain Anthony Hopkins, I could think of no better actor, too portray in the movies the character Hannibal Lecter.
