Just out of curiosity🤍
Added 2024-06-07 19:15:04 +0000 UTCI appreciate you all. I am trying to communicate and inquire bout a few things. Free members, are there any series or movies that you’re waiting for to join? Paid Members, what do you guys want to see coming up next?
I’m going to continue Ted Lasso season 2, Band of Brothers, and probably House of the Dragon season 2 when it starts airing weekly. Shogun, The Walking Dead, Hannibal, The Handmaid‘s Tale, True Detective, etc And maybe pick up more series as I get more time on my hands. I just wanna hear where everyone’s head is at😊
While I want to make sure everyone here on Patreon is getting the best experience possible, I’m also trying to explore new TV shows to grow my YouTube channel.
Edit: The movies will keep coming! Thats my main content✌🏾
If you wish to comment, I’d appreciate it. Trying to better understand my audience. I know sometimes people may not feel like voicing their opinions but please share if you can, so I can build a better experience for us all🙏🏾
I hope you enjoy your weekend folks 🤍

As far as 1 specific title to suggest to you: 12 Angry Men by Sidney Lumet (it's in B&W and from 1957) I pick it because it is one of the few titles from the 50s that going around in what you call the "reaction space".

2024-06-24 17:13:31 +0000 UTCFrank your appeal for me is that you search where the heart lies in a story. Your sensitivity and life experience bring qualities that are not common among reactors. You want to maximize your audience? This is one good step: find out more about them. The truth is for viewers like me watching some 20-30 something who's into cartoons and cgi and getting bits of wisdom from someone who's barely left their game room isn't interesting at all. You're a sensitive man with a richly varied background, who's traveled, who bears an Igbo name of honor, leave the kiddie reactors to the kiddies. I know catering to them is the quickest way to $, I hope you won't chose that road. You get the most out of stories with subtleties and depth. You know that a poll is as good as the question being asked. Think of categories that will use the colors in your palette. Not someone elses. Watching somebody react is ok, but having somebody with a brain and some feeling do also review would be great. Quality not quantity. "Whimsory" has an added feature to her reactions. She'll watch content cold. Then takes a break, thinks about it!!, does even some trivia research online and then records her "outro" (basically a review). And then edits intro-reaction-outro together. "Run to the movies" has the commentary/outro in a separate page/link so you can get more clicks (but I've noticed that not all the viewers go to that second link). Any content that is fundamentally commercial action/ superhero/anime kiddy fare is not the best suited for your reactions.

2024-06-18 17:57:57 +0000 UTCThere is another comedy on Apple I found pretty funny. Bad Sisters. Also, Silo on Apple is good. I’m new so not really sure what all you have reacted to previously. I should check that out 😂

2024-06-15 23:50:34 +0000 UTCThere are so many good shows. Even if you can't record them all, I still highly recommend! But if you post them, we will watch them : )

2024-06-12 18:28:40 +0000 UTCThe Walking Dead and True Detective for sure. I'm going to look up ''what we do in the shadows'' sounds quite interesting. My weekend was great thank you I was out of town with family, but I'm back to the Grind now. And don't worry movies are going to keep coming out. That's my main love

2024-06-12 16:50:53 +0000 UTCI haven't yet but it is on my list. And I hear the new movie is good as well

2024-06-12 16:48:57 +0000 UTCOh I love House of Dragons and I have seen the entire game of thrones. I am so so excited for season 2 of House of dragons

2024-06-12 16:48:31 +0000 UTCI've had my eyes out for Fallout for a minute now. Shogun is a must watch for me. I can't wait. I wish there were two of me to watch and record all these different amazing shows at once😭 Dexter and Sopranos are too good shows up always heard about. Eventually I'll start to tackle a lot of these shows

2024-06-12 16:47:14 +0000 UTCI am checking it out for sure.

2024-06-12 16:44:35 +0000 UTCI totally get it if its not your thing! There are definitely some spooky parts but I like to describe it more like a family drama dressed up like horror. I love it because its not just trying to scare you with cheap thrills, it delves into the deeper parts of the human psyche. There are scenes where I am tense from the suspense one minute and the next I am crying because the whole thing is so moving. Its beautifully written and the characters are so relatable. Just like Ted Lasso uses comedy to convey deeper ideas about life and relationships, Mike Flanagan does the same sort of thing with horror. 🥰

2024-06-12 16:32:28 +0000 UTCThe movies are not going to stop and that's always going to be my main content :) Thanks for all these recommendations. I was looking forward to John Q this weekend but I was out of town. It's coming soon I promise

2024-06-12 16:28:58 +0000 UTCI've heard a lot of Ted lasso fans mention the good place, I'll definitely look into that

2024-06-12 16:25:29 +0000 UTCI just looked it up and it's horror👀👀

2024-06-12 16:24:04 +0000 UTCThank you thank you. Good to know I appreciate hearing those TV shows.

2024-06-12 16:23:10 +0000 UTCI would love to see your take on Shogun. It’s so much more than a beautifully made costume drama - it’s about the bubbles we live in, and how to adjust and accept a world-view that’s alien to the one a person grew up with.

2024-06-11 22:00:56 +0000 UTCI hope he watches it soon, I think everyone can learn from all of the characters in the movie. (So much of the movie applies to today's world, and people could learn from seeing themselves in the characters and how people react to the circumstances in the film. It's a movie I can watch again & again, and not get tired of..just enjoy the courage shown.

2024-06-11 20:58:58 +0000 UTCA little late seeing your comment, but I would love to see a reaction to Bridge of Spies. Written by the Coen brothers and directed by Spielberg, of course it's good. Tom Hanks' character is what I was raised to believe is a great American. I wonder how many people today would agree with that, and it worries me.

2024-06-11 18:45:21 +0000 UTCFallout is great and Shogun is wonderful too. If you've never seen it, Dexter is also really good. House MD was also a wonderful show. I'd love to see you watch the Sopranos too. But I love everything you've been putting out, great variety. Thanks for the great content!

2024-06-11 12:42:23 +0000 UTCWould love to see some LOST, The Leftovers and/or Dark. They feel very aligned to the kinds of movies you enjoy too in terms of complexity fused with emotional drama, growth, life lessons and all the good stuff :)

2024-06-09 07:49:53 +0000 UTCI would really, really love it if the next series was house of dragons. I read the entire set of books for Game of Thrones. But I no longer own a TV and I would really love to see what your reaction would be to that series which is a prequelto Game of Thrones. Maybe someday?

2024-06-08 11:35:18 +0000 UTCI feel like you may have already seen Fallout, but if not then I highly recommend. If you dare bring the hardcore Star Wars fans to your channel, then maybe Acolyte. I haven’t started it yet either, but I have hopes after Andor. I think they recently announced that Arcane Season 2 is coming this year. That would be a great & popular choice. Firefly is a good older show. It was unfortunately cancelled prematurely, but they did film a final movie, Serenity. And I know you’re not huge into horror, but the Netflix Mike Flannagan shows are amazing. Some of my favorite “tv” in the last few years. They’re not too scary, and I think you would really enjoy them. I honestly don’t know if it’s better for the algorithm/yt to do the shorter shows or those really long, multiple season shows. The shorter ones seem easier for you & us to keep up with, so they’re usually what I recommend. As for a sneaky movie suggestion, “What Dreams May Come” is close to my heart. Another Robin Williams film, but it’s not too popular, so totally understand if it’s not worth it for the channel. (I’m in the $5 tier)

2024-06-08 09:11:34 +0000 UTCHonestly I'm mostly here for the movies, but I would watch the walking dead and true detective YES!! also just throwing it out there, there is one of my favourite tv shows, called "what we do in the shadows" it also has a movie that came before it, both the movie and the series are perfect!! its a modern mockumentary spin on vampires and their lore, if you are ever interested in that genre. very entertaining and interesting characters in it. hope you're having a great weekend too. :)

2024-06-08 07:18:45 +0000 UTCI just joined for Ted Lasso! Very much hoping you'll be finishing the entire series. Also majorly recommend Interview with the Vampire, the series on AMC that started in 2022. Criminally underrated~

2024-06-08 04:23:42 +0000 UTCI’ll recommend Six Feet Under for a series.

2024-06-08 00:57:09 +0000 UTCIn spite of the blood/guts comment above....I do love the movies 'Fargo" and "Deja Vu" (2006).. They are still people movies, maybe that is why I liked them..? Yep, that's it.

2024-06-08 00:10:11 +0000 UTC"Bridge of Spies" is my pick for one or your next movie.(HINT is that I have yet to find ANY reaction done to this movie..there are some "reviews", but NO REACTIONS YET). I also wonder if you are going to do any Black & White movies of old? (My picks would be '12 Angry Men..."To Kill A Mockingbird"....and "It's a Wonderful Life"..) If you haven't seen any of those movies, please put them on your list to see--even if not on the channel. If you even want to see an Old time English countryside movie, I really love "Sense and Sensibility"----something different from the blood/guts movies..as well as the older movies mentioned above. I love people movies--about people's hearts and minds.

2024-06-08 00:09:49 +0000 UTCOh, Lots of folks do The Sopranos. I think it’s pretty good and I know a LOT of people like watching it. I was reading the comments and I remembered you mentioned the “popularity” of the movies reacted to (among YouTube reactors) really helps the channel out. So, a lot do The Fugitive; Rambo First Blood; & disaster movies such as The Impossible (wow!), The Day After Tomorrow, Dante’s Peak. ✌🏼

2024-06-07 23:27:10 +0000 UTC🌷Pro🌷here. (That might not sound quite right…😄) You know what I mean. lol. I’ve said before, I’m not really into the TV series…not to say that I wouldn’t watch…but I just prefer the movies. I would like to see your reaction to DeJavu (Denzel); The Call (Halle Berry)-thriller; Kiss the Girls (Morgan Freeman & Ashley Judd)-thriller; and for a great western Silverado (Danny Glover, Kevin Costner; several more outstanding cast members) & for some comic relief Monster-in-Law(Jane Fonda, Wanda Sykes, Jennifer Lopez). That’s enough suggestions for now. I’ll see if there’s anyone who might agree with any of these suggestions. 🤔 Got a lot of laundry to fold this weekend, 🧺but I’ll be looking for John Q. 😉 👍🏼✌🏼👋🏻

2024-06-07 23:12:51 +0000 UTCMy favorite movie is Red White and Royal Blue, it is a romance. Mary and George, 7 part limited series about King James and the mother who uses her son to improve her familys situation. I LOVED IT. It is excellent.

2024-06-07 22:18:51 +0000 UTCI just became a paid member this week for Ted Lasso. A show I think you would like and have good reactions to (and I LOVE) would be The Good Place.
Moriah Wilson-Barone
2024-06-07 21:15:30 +0000 UTCI would absolutely LOVE to see the series The Haunting of Hill House show up on your list at some point! Its a masterpiece in my opinion and one of my favs for reaction content!

2024-06-07 21:05:11 +0000 UTCAppreciate you. I’ve been hearing that both Fargo the movie and the TV show are amazing so I’ll keep my eye on that. Thanks for bringing it up. The unfortunate thing about those movies that “not a lot of reactors do” is they probably wouldn’t perform well on YouTube (especially for smaller channels). There are a lot of really great movies that I want to make reactions to that are not very popular in the “reaction space” so I’m saving for when my channel gets bigger. Hugh Jackman is usually amazing in everything he does so I’m sure The Greatest Showman is a great watch. I feel the boy in the striped pajamas is going to wreck me when I watch it😭 I’ve been warned. That and the pianist. Oooyeah Tarantino’s Movies are always something to get hyped for.

2024-06-07 20:59:28 +0000 UTCSounds good. They will definitely be here.

2024-06-07 20:49:06 +0000 UTCHehe after watching silence of the lambs, absolutely!!!

2024-06-07 20:48:36 +0000 UTCOh yeahhh I have it on my list. Someone recommended it to me a long time ago and I plan to watch it for sure. I do love wrestling. Another wrestling related movie I have on my list is the new iron claw
Franklin
2024-06-07 20:47:48 +0000 UTCI would love to see you react to The Handmaid's Tale. Nobody does that one, and it's so interesting. The Good Place, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Psych are shows that I think would be fun replacements for Ted Lasso when you finish it. I'll be happy with watching you react to pretty much anything though.
Calbah
2024-06-07 20:47:02 +0000 UTCHey Franky! I wanna suggest a very favorite movie of mine called "Warrior"(2011). It is an underrated gem with a great cast. Has an amazing story about dysfunctional families and their aftermath. But most importantly it's about MMA. I don't know how you feel about wrestling or martial arts but this is a great movie that gets your heart pumping and I assure you there will be blood, sweat and tears.

2024-06-07 20:37:43 +0000 UTCYou gonna do Hannibal!!! If I wasn't a paying member already I would definitely become one just for this show!! 😁

2024-06-07 20:27:37 +0000 UTCI'll be signing up for paid content if/when HOTD and Handmaid's Tale are available.

2024-06-07 19:38:13 +0000 UTCI'm just at the pro level , but I love what you've already been putting out ! A tv show that I know people seem to like watching reactions of on YouTube is Fargo season 1 . And in my opinion not enough reactors watch it. As for movies I think that you'd actually enjoy I would say the greatest showman , or the boy in the striped pajamas . But a lot of people go crazy about people reacting to any Quentin Tarantino movie !
Skyler Ralf
2024-06-07 19:34:01 +0000 UTCI feel you. The movies ain’t stopping. That’s still my main primary content. Appreciate you
Franklin
2024-06-07 19:33:33 +0000 UTCI have no issues with the content or selection. I'm more of a movie guy but there are PLENTY of great shows out there. I can obviously only speak for myself and not the patreon or youtube community, but I enjoy the variety of movies that you pick to react to. Not sure how well every show will do episode by episode, but if it's working then roll with it!! Keep up the great work Frank!
