Comfort show I don't know if you have seen Forrest Gump, but the way people hate on Jenny, I'm not surprised the same kind of people will feel the same way about Michelle. I absolutely agree, sometimes that optimism might be too much when you just want to feel your feelings and navigate through real life. Absolutely no Ted's going to learn just as much as he's going to teach others in this show

2024-05-20 19:06:56 +0000 UTCI love that you love the show. It’s so wholesome & beautiful. A lot of people don’t have a lot of empathy for Michelle. Sometimes you just fall out of love. And it can be difficult to be the partner of the perpetually optimistic person. It can feel like you’re the only one dealing with the reality of life, while your partner can be optimistic to the point of being dismissive of the problems. As great as Ted is, he also has a lot of growth to do himself.
