Luckily, two off-duty police officers who happened to be there performed CPR, and the man soon regained consciousness. They had each been on the job for less than a year. When the news aired, fellow officers noticed that the male and female officer were wearing the same shoes and realized that the two were a couple. This real event became the motif for the restaurant scene in the drama. The scene where the male director touches a nurse’s butt was performed by a male staff member wearing the nurse uniform. Cord Prolapse Normally, the baby’s head blocks the cervical opening, so when the amniotic sac ruptures, only fluid comes out while the head prevents anything else from descending. However, if the baby’s head is still floating when the water breaks, the umbilical cord can slip down through that space. The cord is essentially the baby’s lifeline, like a neck, so it must not be compressed. But once the baby’s head descends and presses against the cervix, it can trap and compress the cord. When that happens, the baby cannot breathe. If the baby is not delivered within a few minutes, it can result in death. This is a true emergency. In such cases, as shown in the drama, the healthcare provider must manually push the baby’s head upward to prevent compression of the cord while transferring the mother to the operating room. According to the testimony of an actual obstetrician on YouTube, when cord prolapse occurs, all the obstetricians rush in, pour Betadine (an antiseptic) for rapid disinfection, and immediately perform a laparotomy to deliver the baby first.

Also, I find it so heartwarming when Dr. Ki Eun-mi asks coworkers to have meals with her. She even asked the new nurse. It reminds me of Hospital Playlist, where she was so introverted and would eat alone even when Chu Min-ha tried to get her to open up—until she was overwhelmed seeing a baby born with the umbilical cord wrapped around its neck, and since then, she would talk non-stop.
