Hi all! One quick update here as we head into the weekend. The replacement 3090 card turns out to have not fully resolved the issues with my system, as I continue to experience random hard crashes and reboots. I thought it might be an issue with the drivers, so I tried re-installing Windows, but that turned out to have not solved it.
Adding insult to injury, all the assets I installed for Daz had to be reinstalled. What this meant yesterday is when I added Paolo to a scene, it took an hour just to download the various assets I've used to make him before he looked like his old self again.
BUT... I'm making progress again. To fully resolve the hardware issues, I think I'm looking a replacement motherboard, but the system is more or less operating for now. I need to redo the lighting on some of the renders I ran last night, but here's one with everyone's favorite weretiger.

I have a 3090 as well and everything crashes even tho it's Asus like my motherboard is as well 😶 Hope it will be resolved. Sounds like a windows issue, tho.

2023-06-17 15:24:25 +0000 UTCDon't know if there is any connection with your problem, but I experience several hard crashes almost every time a major update of Windows is issued, so also during these days. The first hours after the update are ok, but I see that the cooling system is working on maximum as the processor is working on "something", and then the next three days there are crashes during I am surfing or doing any other activity then using some simple text editor... Hope you are getting better :-)
