2025-09-02 23:52:35 +0000 UTCEnjoyed the multiple POVs, but come on.... what are we doing here man??? Hermione is not some feeble witch. She slapped Draco in Book 3 and is one of the smartest in her year, so I'm confident she knows a few tricks to make Draco wary. Also, Hermione is not exactly unlikeable, she would've easily made more friends than just Neville by her 3rd yr. It's such a dead trope. So, Voldemort is basically back to where he was at canon - with Quirrell as the Barty replacement - which just makes him just an awful antagonist. We've got savant Harry, who from simply reading his mother's books, is now ready for his Owls & Newts.... Why don't we just wrap this story up at the resurrection and have Harry win, so we can get to final stories of this arc, i.e. boy who laughed & the chosen Harry's that defeat him. Maybe then we can reset the stories, maybe do a James POV or a Next Gen story or Magic Vs Muggles (X2) story.
