Hey everyone, remember me? It's Jamison! It's been a bit quiet on my end the last little while so it's time for an update from me.
First of all, once again big thank you and welcome to all the new supporters that have come from Joe's excellent Zombies series. It's been really exciting and encouraging to get new stuff out on the channel.
I was away for most of Sept. and then sick upon return and it's been slow to get back into the flow of things, but Overwatch 2 Mythbusters Vol. 1 is coming soon. With the very rough launch of the game (it was largely unplayable for a week) and our new commitment to taking our time with videos, it's only now that the first episode is coming together but it'll be a good one.
As Joe discussed in the "What's Next" post, we are looking to alter what our mythbusters videos look like and what that means is still being discovered on a per series basis. In the case of Overwatch 2, the format and structure of mythbusters is not necessarily going to be locked in with Vol. 1 - especially considering the live service nature and addition of PvE in the future. It could change quite dramatically as it goes on and since we will be sticking with the game for the long haul this time flexibility will be important. Plus, I've been out of the Overwatch loop for so many years it's going to take an episode or two to really get back into that headspace.
Anyways, all that's to say I don't have a list of myths or music that'll be featured in Vol. 1 at this time. We have A TON of footage (over 5 hours) covering a wide variety of myths and the form it takes is something that I am figuring out through the editing process. Myths and music are all TBD. It's entirely possible I edit the whole thing and then start over! (probably not)
So stay tuned for the first of many Overwatch 2 Mythbusters - I hope to have it done and released this week!
