New Story Poll (Read Carefully)

Well, that time has arrived once again for us to decide what little venture we will be going on when 'All For You' comes to an end.

As ever, the choices are below, and do feel free to ask any questions in the comments.

The two most popular will go through to a final vote.

P.S.: There are no crossovers as such in this poll because of the ongoing GOT fic I am writing.

Below is a synopsis of each option.

Poll Options

The Boy Who Laughed (Rated M)

Tormented by the murder of his parents and raised in a household that only fed the darkness he harboured, one with such an already tainted soul could only be salvaged so far, if at all.

If only the new world he found himself in could be so kind, perhaps the boy would not wish such suffering on those whom he considered his enemies.

This is not a meek Harry Potter looking for acceptance, but a boy shaped and jaded by his experience seeking only an opportunity for vengeance.

He remembered his mother’s pleading and would never forget that he was left to suffer a life of misery.

Those responsible would reap what they had sown.

Tom Riddle may have struck fear into the heart of wizarding Britain, but Harry Potter would devour it if necessary to bathe in the blood of those who had wronged him.

Important notes about this story.

- It will be a Dark Harry who is willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve his goals.

- It will follow canon events until it no longer does.

- Both Voldemort and Dumbledore will be antagonists.

- Pairing is undecided, but there will be romantic aspects throughout.

- The Horcrux will influence Harry, but it won’t be Voldemort as such, more so that it amplifies certain qualities about him.

- It is loosely based on ‘The Batman Who Laughs’. For those of you unfamiliar, a quick Youtube shorts will explain all you need to know, particularly how the Horcrux will affect Harry.

- The Horcruxes will be a key part of the story and Harry’s character progression. (No, he will not be absorbing them).

- This is something of a prequel to my planned Multi-verse story with several already-established iterations of Harry I have already written.

Avalon (Rated M)

Luck had proven to be rather fickle when it came to Harry’s life.

Despite somehow already surviving several incidences that should’ve seen him dead, fate never seemed to intervene to prevent these things from happening.

Being entered into the Triwizard Tournament should’ve come as no surprise, but he’d foolishly hoped that nothing would go amiss for his fourth year of schooling.

Alas, as ever, Harry once again found himself thrown into danger.

Fate, however, was not done with him, and his name coming out of the Goblet of Fire was just the very beginning of a journey beyond his wildest imagination.

Given its popularity during the last polling, it would be a crime not to include it again. However, some tweaking has been made so that it will appeal to most of you.

- Begins during the second task

- You will need no prior knowledge of Arthurian legend to follow this story. The relevant things will be explained as the story unfolds.

- The founders will feature more in the story than initially intended, with Harry having a close relationship with them (and maybe apprenticing under one or more of them)

- This will contain adult themes. Although I will not be writing anything overly explicit when it comes to intimacy, it will be more adult than ‘the lights going out’ type of things I’ve written prior.

- The story will eventually come full circle, with several villains along the way.

- It will very much remain a Harry Potter story with some Arthurian stuff worked into it, but it will satisfy those who enjoy that aspect of it.

- Of course, it will be a time-travel story.

Family Ties (Rated M)

With James and Lily dead, Sirius did as he’d promised: He took Harry from the ruins of Godric’s Hollow and returned to his childhood home, the one place he could keep his godson safe.

Life, however, had a tendency to not go according to plan.

Although Voldemort was gone, his most prominent followers remained at large, with many awaiting trial.

Trusting no one, Sirius had no faith that justice would be served, and he prepared to remain in hiding for as long as necessary to ensure Harry would not be harmed, only someone else had other ideas.

When his cousin Bellatrix arrives, cradling a baby of her own and asking for his help, Sirius cannot comprehend just how much more complicated life would become. 

- This is something of an AU, or that certain characters made different choices.

- It will be my first attempt at a marriage contract fic

- It will be a Harry/Delphini pairing

- Harry will be raised by Sirius, which will change him in some ways.

- Will follow canon to suit.
