Can't say as I would have reacted any different if I was Harry. I'd burn down everything Tom might value or hold dear...for Gellert and use the same blue flames (protego diabolica that he used) as a calling card of sorts.

I think this is defo one of your most dark/grey Harry and it makes sense via the horcrux absorption, cause despite his pretty gd upbringing he became a ruthless ba**ard who will win this war at any cost and isn't fussed about collateral damage. This story is probably the most truest to the prophecy, i.e. "will mark him as his equal" and I can't wait for the next. p.s. I hope we one day get a Harry Potter taught by the Founders fic (either in the past via t travel or the 90s), cause there's the foundation from other stories to make them better.
