Hey man…Harry is 14. Also, trauma matures kids in certain ways and stunts them in others. While you’re probably right in part—a kid raised by a stone cold killer in Cassie and obsessed with revenge probably would be well spoken for his age. Also, a magic bird brought him back to life…some aging dialogue doesn’t seem out of place

2023-03-06 18:26:31 +0000 UTCEnjoying this story so far, having a hard time believing a 13 yr old can have long and clear rants at fully grown adults about how he will make them suffer if they don’t take him seriously though. I very much either roll my eyes or skip it as it’s just ruins my immersion into the story. Say what you will about him being raised as future house lord, which outside of money, seems to offer nothing much. Any adult that has magic would not take a child seriously, especially one that frankly carry’s on like a AU Draco malfroy- just one competent in magic and having a bit more self control - in some things anyway. Still enjoying the story, but most of the dialogue is out of place for a child whose voice would still be cracking, and even slightly cringe worthy for someone twice his age.
