Yes, absolutely! That is a very different scenario! Sadly, it's situation which I to have also experienced. But then again, haven't we all at some point. Another reality of life. ; )

Doug Evans

Understood completely! Wise words from a very experienced photographer of women. Fact is, I experienced the same phenomenon, in a much smaller scale. However, I did have one muse, dear friend and favorite model. When she became pregnant and chose to move on, that one was tough for me. ;-)

Doug Evans

When a model becomes a beloved woman (for my heart), that's when I really worry when I lose her.

Andrew Lucas

I had over 100 models. I don't worry about it. Today she is a model, tomorrow she is gone. Such are women. They get married and have children. Why do I need them? In their place come the young again. These are the realities of life.

Andrew Lucas

Shame your models moved away from you and no longer model! Will there be no more provocative photography?? I hope that is not the case!

Doug Evans

That's interesting. The same time period here. Roughly 7 years ago there were plenty of models I was aware of, particularly in the North East US, that would pursue bold and interesting work. There are still a few, but as you mention, most have stopped such shooting or want too much money for even simple nude shoots in the studio. I first noticed this in 2018. Art and adventure, pushing some provocative boundaries has given way to scores of girls on Model Mayhem wanting steep fees for simple shoots. I hope the trend wears out.

Doug Evans

Several of my models are now living in America. (here on Patreon there are pictures of them) But now they are no longer models.

Andrew Lucas

Well, here is the confirmation. Approximately 5-6 years ago, there was a decline in the trend for models in public nudes. Of course, there are others who are interested. But that drive is fading fast. Now everyone just wants MONEY. All these photos I took for free before.

Andrew Lucas

Thanks for digging into your archives for us. When did you notice it getting more difficult to find models for these types of shots? Is it an age group issue? I know a model here in the US (New York City) who did many bold, outdoor nude shoots. I finally had an opportunity to work with her, however she told me she was no longer interested in that style anymore. Bummer! Well, must keep on looking for brave models! ; )

Doug Evans

Thanks Evans! I'll tell you, in truth, That all these photos are from my archives. Now it is already difficult to find a model for such types.

Andrew Lucas

Love this! I would know it was your work just from the daring, bold style and pose. Stay daring Andrew, love your bold and provocative work!
