A pity iRay sucks at displacement, the badge would need to be 100% mesh and the complexity would not be a good thing on my scenes that are already overwhelmed by elements...

Anyway, we have the man that doesn't smile (internal joke at the PD for Paul) and the office cop (James) a.k.a. lucky motherfucker (because he is dating Melissa.

Ah, yeah, taking this time to think about their plot thing that should be in the first chapters of CT season 4 and, who knows, making a guest appearance?

If the badge is its own material I think you could take the texture, make it B&W, fiddle with the contrast, and use it as the bump channel to add some height to it, though I'm sorta guessing because I haven't needed to do that yet.
