The trap set is finally done! i know i haven't responded to a lot of your comments concerning with my last thoughts but i just want to thank you all for the kind words you've said, it really meant a lot as always. I don't even know where to begin with this simple piece other than it was just flat out fun. i loved doing the streams and bubbles of soda coming out especially! i think this is the first time i tried doing a plaid pattern? Simple multiply effect so theres not much to say on it. really loved working with the amount of red and reflecting it off the characters! the leaves however i don't feel proud of. they look like clay, lack of "bounce" and depth to them, loss of the organic feel as well. I know backgrounds isn't my thing (hence how simple this one is) but man, foliage seriously isn't either lol.
tried finding tutorials on how to make vines but i guess i was looking in the wrong direction for it. If there is anything else i wish i couldve done better on other than that, it's probably the posture, expression, and possibly attire? i tried going for the "baggy top/ skin tight bottom" kind of look but it doesn't really feel that way, the posture is stiff and the expression couldve been more in shock. Other than that, seriously had a great time with this one! hope you guys like, time to work on the Lapis, Ruby, and other WIPs!
