2024 Wrap up!

Hey everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful christmas holiday with a lot of fattening treats and a few pounds more on your hips now.
2024 was a wild year for me. It was my first full year as a full-time freelance artist, and I can't express enough gratitude to all of you for making it possible for me to live my dream job—and actually make a living from it.
And I really hope that you enjoyed what I drew for you. I really did my best to be diligent this year. I managed to create over 120 individual illustrations and comic pages this year, averaging around 2–3 per week and I plan to maintain this pace going forward.
Many of the pieces were commissions and from the feedback I received from the individual clients, it seems everyone was satisfied with the results. I sincerely hope the commission game continues strong next year. I still have three completed commissions sitting on my hard drive, which I’ll share with you at the start of the new year. I didn’t want to interrupt the Advent calender series.
And for those of you who have already commissioned something and still are waiting for their pictures: I am on it. I apologize for letting you wait, but christmas time is busy time for freelancers and there were a lot of projects to handle. But In January I will focus on the commission pipeline and work on all those wild ideas you brought to me.
But 2024 was also the year I finally managed to finish the Maggie series after all these years. I never truly gave up hope, but there were times when I wondered if I would ever be able to complete this massive project. And yet, here we are—it’s done! This was only possible because I now have the time to fully dedicate myself to such projects, instead of working on them on the side like I had to for so many years. I am happy that the majority of you liked the way I ended the comic. Sure, some wanted to keep going and growing, but like I said before: It had to end somewhere and it's cool that the ending was ok for most of you. And I have to thank you for all your kind words and comments on Maggie, what this series meant to you, that it inspired you and in some case woke the feedee or feeder in some of you. It’s crazy and amazing, and it really made me realize the impact my illustrations and comics have. I’ll do my best to live up to that.
And in the spirit of Maggie and friends I will now finally start my interactive comic which will most likely will be called "Shapeshifting" or "Getting in Shape". One of those two. So within this week you'll get the first small page of Autumn and her journey which I don't know myself how it will be and where it will lead. I am very curious how this will work out and I hope you are too.
So let's wrap up 2024. I'll be back with more crazy fat content soon and I again have to thank you all that you made this possible. You are a wonderful community!
