One: I never wanted to be a girl. When I agreed to live with Aunt Millie, I thought I was getting away from Mother.
Two: I fought it. I fought so hard for so long, but it didn’t matter. No matter how strong or smart I thought I was, she was stronger and smarter. In the end, it was inescapable.
Three: It’s complete. Aunt Millie has doctor friends. I woke up one morning in a clinic and it was gone. That’s when I gave up fighting. Under my skirt, I’m all girl.
And Four: Aunt Millie is still here. She didn’t just drop me off, she is picking you up. It’s your turn little brother. Take my advice and don’t fight. It will only make things worse.
