Just glass

From the day they brought me here till today, this window has been simple glass.
As they changed my body, played with my mind, stripped me of my manhood, bit by bit, month after month, this window has been here. Simple, breakable glass.
Before the hormones, I could have broken it
Before the implants, I could have escaped.
Before they took my balls, I could have run
Before the last operation, I could have broken this window, climbed down that pipe and been free!
But I never did. I always knew this was glass, always knew I could have run but I never did.
Because I think, deep down, despite my protests, despite all the times I begged for mercy, all the times I declared I was a man and they couldn’t do this, I wanted this.
It’s done now. I am a complete woman. they say I am to be collected by the man who paid to have this done to me. He is to be my owner and I will be his slave. Maybe it’s what they did to my mind but I am not afraid. No, I am excited. Maybe I can see his car through this simple glass window.
