Weekly News

Hey everyone!

Each week of work brings us closer to the release of the new chapter of Tame It Too!, and we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! We tackled a ton of different tasks last week and we’re happy to share some news with you!

Spiders

Surprised? We’ve been planning to add more wildlife to the locations for a while now,  including some that could be dangerous. Let’s be honest, just having crocodiles chilling in their swamp gets a bit boring, right? We’re currently still training our little spiders, fine-tuning their behavior, so they won’t be added in the next chapter but will appear in locations at nights later on. We're also discussing other enemies and regular animals, but it all depends on our resources.

Fairy (Spoiler!)

We’ve been working on updated mechanics for the Fairy’s behavior. She’ll now accompany Lee differently than before. During the day she’ll fly freely near Lee, and at night, she’ll stick closer, keeping up with him without falling behind. We’ve also significantly boosted her glow, so she’ll light up your path at night, making nighttime exploration a bit easier!

Dialogs

Work on the chapter’s dialogs is almost complete! Most of the text is written, and much of it has already been added to the game. You’ll have plenty of conversations with Mana and Bunny in the new chapter, where you’ll get to know them better and learn new words from them.

3D Model Improvements

We continue to improve the characters models, and we’ve recently added a blush effect to not only the faces, but the bodies as well. This will allow us to make steamy scenes even juicier and more realistic! But it will take us some time to get everything right, so it will be added in later updates.

Programming

Our shadow heroes put a lot of effort into the programming, as usual. While it’s not something you can directly see in the game, it’s what makes everything work! This includes adding new mechanics, debugging old ones, fixing bugs, tweaking character behavior, and much more!

Sounds

There are more and more new sounds in the game! As soon as we add something new, whether it's digging up treasure or being attacked by a spider, we immediately add the accompanying sounds for it!

Oh, and this week we'll be announcing the results of an exciting poll, so stay tuned for that!
