I think it could be because They didn't really know he had a name other then Voldemort, and they probably didn't think it was important if he did. Nobody thought to ask. I'd also assume that he doesn't tell everyone, I think Harry was a special case because it was relevant, to the wand he wsa selling, and Harry had no idea that knowing Voldemorts actual name would suddenly become useful within the next two years.
