Rosaria first erotic look and Mona first look!

How are you doing? How are you feeling? Is everything alright? Is the weather good at your place? I hope you and your loved ones are safe.

Today I’m here to share TWO images from our current projects, Rosaria and Mona.

What I was always concerned about is to make my models appear different in each new project. Especially when one model features both in Main and Special projects.
You may ask, do I change the facial features of my models? Yes, I do change them, not much, because a lot of changes already happened during make up. Also the light scheme changes the skin tone, shadow patterns on face/body.
But I prefer to add small changes here and there, going into the direction of the original design. If the cosplay is too far from the original design, it might feel odd.
From my perspective, cosplay was created for the fans to be able to “live in the skin” of the character they admire. For a moment to live in the dream. So technically all cosplay is a love letter to the creators of the title. And also love for the fans.

But for the outside viewer it might be odd to watch their beloved character appear too different from the original. And when the cosplay hits the right points it will definitely gain attention. It doesn’t need to be an exact spitting image, but be just near in appearance and  give off the right emotions you have from the character in the title. Or just give you “wow” emotion.

In my cosplay photography career we managed to hit the right spot with some of our projects, you probably know all of them. And it feels good to be able to achieve that.

Getting back to Rosaria and Mona. As you see we used the same model for both characters. Both characters are fairly mature in how they act and look. (it’s just my impression, if I’m wrong, please don’t be mad) I’d say they have many similar features. And since cosplay is mainly about the looks, both characters needed some “volume” in the model.
Also this model is just great at showing a playful side. Restricted playfulness I say. It is when you’re playful, but also want to be decent/humble. Right amount.
And this amount of playfulness is exactly what both characters need to organically slide into “erotic cosplay photography” genre.
But they should also feel different, because they are different characters with a lot of differences.
I started this post with “What I was always concerned about is to make my models appear different in each new project”. Since we have two back to back projects with the same model, I really wonder were we able to achieve that? I know, that it’s too early to talk about that, since you haven’t seen full projects, but maybe it’s already seen? )

I, personally, like that they are in separate distinct color patterns, with only one color appearing in both sets. Like a small chain that links them. )
