Priscilla first look!

How are you doing? How is your summer going? Are you doing your best to take proper care of your health?
It’s crazy hot weather at my place right now, about 38C. Not the hottest weather I’ve experienced, but when it’s even hot in the shadow and you don’t have AC at home, it’s very hard to concentrate and do anything. You’re melting. But if you’re from warm parts of the world it’s not news for you. )
No matter the weather, don't forget to drink plenty of water.
Here is the first look of the Priscilla photoshoot. I, personally, didn’t have a lot of expectations from this photoshoot (about the end result), because many things during preparations and on set didn’t go well with the plan. To be precise not how I wanted the things to be, but sometimes you find yourself out of options.
One of the hardest parts of the photoshoot to deal with was bright sunlight. It was a very sunny and cloudy day and the location had large windows. Which meant the light could change right at the moment, when you were ready to make the shot. You change settings, getting ready to make a shot aaand light changes ones again. (insert South Park meme, Aaand it’s gone!)
I’m rarely that disappointed in set we choose, but when you’re not fully satisfied with it and light becomes an obstacle rather than your ally, you’re starting to lose faith in shot material.
After Tao made the final selection (images that will go into production and went through first color correction) and showed me first results, I regained my confidence in the photoshoot.
But I still want to reshoot it, if it will be possible in the future.
I believe we’ll be able to execute everything better, when the full team would be on set.
Even so I complained a lot, I love how our Priscilla looks. The model was chosen right (at least from what we could choose from and find) and feels natural in this role. Not as I wanted her to act, not all people played witcher games after all, but good enough. )

Taking in consideration the tone of the photoshoot, I'd say it's the period after witcher 3. If I remember correctly, the period of peace happened at the end of the game. Period when people need happiness the most. I was disappointed about that too. Lutic took the most attention at the moment of story. If CD Project will ever decide to create witcher 4, I hope they'll add her )

When the war started and we needed to solve some problems, we decided to make small stash for the summer/partially autumn period. Later the mobilization happened, and I ended up staying in country to finish some documents. And at that period decided to make extra photoshoots, since we didn't know would it be possible to work in other countries. The good thing was that all projects we shot for stash were prepared beforehand at least year prior, in some cases more or less. The only thing needed was to choose model and grab the camera. All we can do right now is slowly prepare for the future projects, creating the costumes, deciding on shooting locations and many other preparational work. ) I hope it doesn't devalue our work in your eyes and many of my friends here )

2023-07-19 11:41:07 +0000 UTCI decided to let the World choose what the Project of this Month will be and i'm not disappointed. Just a Question, is this before or after Witcher 3? Who could ever do anything to her? i so wanted a Quest to help her. But sadly CD Project gave us no Quest to help her.
