Hello my Sweethearts!
Dzikan is back. It took me way more time than I expected to write this post.
It was a month dedicated to deal with many things. I wrote about first part of our journey, and what it was about, but it’s been month ago. So I’ll try to be brief.
In short, we needed to come up with the plan to solve our financial problem. As you know or heard, our banking system took big hit because of sanctions, which damaged more common people rather than people (and their decisions) it was meant to be against. I’m a bit nervous to talk about it, because people go to jail for 7 years just for a hint of anti-war statement these days. Sad truth.
Aside from financial side, we also needed to understand in what direction to move with our future. Where to move, live and just what to do. The longer conflict goes more innocent people get involved, and more aggression/hatred is created. Being grown adult I, truthfully said, don’t have time deal with all of it. All I want is my family and future kids to be safe, well-fed and have roof over.
I didn’t notice it until today, that we are already away from home for two months. Oof.
And here is what I understood about myself. Home is where your loved ones are, and I don’t feel myself as whole, without my pets. Aside from it I can pretty much easily adjust myself to any environment.
Ok, another thing I miss a lot is my working space at home. My old rusty potato PC, comfy office chair and proper retouching monitor.
We’ve been working on laptops this whole month (borrowed from friends/my mom) and it’s freaking sad experience.
Central Asia is pretty much the easiest place to move to and adjust. I’m talking mainly about Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. People here speak russian and most things pretty much resemble to what we have in our country. Kind and open hearted people. Beautiful nature and delicious food.
If I think more deeply about our experience, I’ll be glad to stay for much longer period to learn more. Of course if I’ll have my pet family members by my side. But right now, I’m feeling homesick.
I think I got it easier, because Tao was the one who prepared everything beforehand and (if needed) understands local language and customs.
I think, if we had big funds and we weren’t in current political/conflict situation, it would be interesting to move from country to country, live there for some time and eventually find the place to settle in. After all it’s something any of us would dream of.
But on another side, this style of life demands too much money, energy and once again money. Which I, being a bit of cheapskate, find unreasonable. Unless you’re big professional, who can work from any part of the earth or onlyfans model. )
We are on finishing steps with our financial part of the journey, and I hope everything will be solved in next few days. We went thru some bureaucracy ordeals, and like in all countries it just tiresome and time consuming. I’m glad we don’t have 42C temperature in August here, like it was last month. Which would make everything even more unbearable. It is around 12-21C temperature and feels really chill.
After two-third part of the July being ill, I hoped we won’t get ill in august. Aaand what do you think happened after one week I wrote my last post? ) Ehhh…nature can be rough to your health.
On good side we managed to get back easier, but it was upsetting.
I hope, I don’t sound nagging or depressive in this post. It’s far from that. We are both in good spirits and ,for now, health.
In my last post I wrote that I’ll be sharing rewards for two months in august, because we weren’t able to send rewards in July.
And I’m feeling that we put bar too high. We finished all works on one of our projects, and finished around 60% of other.
The main obstacle is our laptops. They are not enough to work on 8k resolution photos. Too much information to process, and not enough powers under the hood. Too small screen to comfortably work with (15 inch display is not enough. At least IPS matrix for this monitor size can provide good quality of the image). And not comfortable table/chair.
All these things might sound like complaints from my side, because there are plenty of creators who work this way or worse, but all what I mentioned is slowing us at least 1.5x times.
At the moment I’m pretty confident that at the end of the month we’ll have two Main photoshoots fully finished, but I’m not sure about the Special. And this woman wanted somehow to work on two specials. Mhm.
We’ll continue to work according to our pace, and see what to do when the reward day will come. But I better think of any back up plan.
I’m very-very thankful to all of you who is still here with Dzikan photography. Thank you very much for your patience and trust. Too much things are going on right now in my life, and I’m barely keeping up.
We are planning to come back home in September. After that our work will be more stable. We have beautiful project stored for you, ready to be worked on, and I can’t wait to share it with you in September.
For now, here is “first spicy look” from Main photoshoots we are working on right now: Ningguang and Sara from Genshin Impact.
I hope, these photos will make your day and mood brighter! And also hope this post didn’t appear too chaotic. Too many things I want to share and express with you, but my mind jumps from one topic to another, because of other things we need to do aside from work.
Have a great day! Please be healthy and happy!
