Hello my Sweethearts!
Today I want to show you what will await you in August. To be precise, how our project looks in backstage. )
Official announcement: August's project will be Ash [Noir]! Why [Noir] written like that? Because it can't be characterized as strictly in that style, but it has feel of it. Like I'm not really sure how to distinguish it properly. Maybe you know? )
Please share on your thoughts in the comment section!
Acording to comments and messages you wrote me, our Ashe on Railroad came out good, which made me breath out with relief. We planned this photoshoot (i mean this version) for so long, that it almost feels unbelievable. )
I remember sharing, that we found really good looking location for another version of Ashe. Here it is:

It has two levels, but second one you can see in photos atached higher.
Strange mix of loft and modern style. Personally I don't like when people design space like that, because I believe interior design should be certain.
But, from several angles it makes good photoshoot space.
"The more you know" fact:
Good thing they had lamps with not bad CRI, so there might not be color artifacts. on model. Except in billiards area. It was awfull, so we turned it of while shooting. Veeery durty colors. We are using mixed light after all. )
CRI is the measure used to identify how faithfully light source reveals colors of objects. Simply, higher it is, better it is. For example, incandescent lamps has CRI around 90-98 out of 100 (highest), which is almost ideal. On the other hand fluorescent lights has CRI around 50-70, which is doggo poop.
Very interesting "The more you know" fact:
Low-preassure sodium lights have negative CRI. And they were used to shoot 1964 Merry Poppins as the way to create perfect matte. Basicly these lights "erased" certain color (vawe length). Filming crew had very specific camera, which seperated all RGB information from that certain color.. I won't go in details, because I'm not that good at technical side of things. Just sharing what I knew about recently )
I think I went a bit overboard, haha )
Anyway, this location was great, because we were able to shoot in retro car! If I'm not mistaken "Moskvich" from 50-60th (Москвич). Only thing I and Tao know about cars, is that they go "vroom-vroom", hahaha ) Maybe because some cameras cost higher than car or same amount, ehhh...
I can go back and forth about why we wanted to shoot there, but I guess it'll be better to share more stories in my later posts. Hope you don't mind. )
Anyway, thank you very much for your support and faith. I'm working hard on post-production of this project in hopes of not dragging results for too long. )
Have a great day and I'll be in touch very soon!
