There was this point where I couldn't get any further with my photography. I wanted to get better, but I didn't know how. That's when I had the idea to book one of the best models in the world. It sounds a bit exaggerated now, but if you typed the word Marketa into Google in 2009, you got to see her directly.

It took a whole year (!) until she answered my request, but in the end it worked out. I flew her in to Frankfurt and had a great shoot with her. Photographically I was still in my early days, but that's the only way to learn. To this day she is the best paid model, I ever worked with. Funny, isn't it?
