New Patch: On Wings of Light
Added 2023-02-05 03:49:05 +0000 UTCYou can now bind yourself in service to the goddess of the sun, becoming one of her valkyries! There’s some new Valkyrie combat training and soulbind-exclusive powers coming courtesy of Aly that didn’t quite make it for this patch, but for now, enjoy the changed reactions from your new sisters — or if that’s not your thing, go give Ahmri a date-night creampie.
0.5.31 Patch Notes:
- Ladies (and those who don’t mind becoming one) can now bind their soul to Lumia after completing her quest and become a valkyrie. Remember that this comes with all the same caveats as the Kitsune soulbind: one binding per playthrough, some permanent TFs, reactions both good and bad from different NPCs. (By Gardeford)
- You can take Ahmri out on a fishing trip, and if you’re married, enjoy some date-night sex scenes. (By Gardeford)
- Leofric donkey-punching you has been reworked a little. (By Wsan)
- Wings are their own TF category now, with a new reagent to target them. If you notice any wonkiness caused by this, please bug report them!

Also, this is JUST conjecture as I haven't done it, I'm pretty sure if you go with the valkyrie, your sexual characteristics change to primarily female-coded (breasts, vagina) but you still have the OPTION to have characters address you as he/him.

2023-02-05 09:05:07 +0000 UTCHuge fan of this new patch, and I feel like a trash person for asking this (but at least I'm not the guy who is probably literally hired grunt from the forums a few comments above) but do you have an estimate on Lumia removing Ryn's cage? I really do love this game and can't complain about anything written in the last several years, but being teased with Lumia letting her out and nothing since I'd killing me.

2023-02-05 07:04:20 +0000 UTCI'm just going to throw this out here (spit in the wind as it were) according to Norse mythology Valkyries were hosts of female figures who guide souls of the dead to the god Odin's hall Valhalla. So the game settings are following the correct usage of Valkyries as being only female, not gatekeeping as you wanted call it...Google is you friend.
