Finally it's time for MK11 Kano to be rendered. It was a real struggle to get all the files necessary to make this possible but thanks to a good friend of mine we managed it to bring Kano to you... Well at least into XNALara xD
Up there is a pre-rendered screenshot directly from KeyShot after I created materials for him. The Characters are pretty good looking in the game so they are a real challenge to render them outside of the engine since the developers used special shading effects which are only working in the game.
By speaking of shading, this guy up there has some really nice 4K textures for the body and face - they look stunning especially close up you can see every detail. And that is what we talking about.. Shading.

Skin isn't easy and it never will be (hopefully in the future) More and more games using SSS shaders in real time now which is quite impressive. In some games it looks rather rough tho... MK11 doesn't use SSS shading on their models which was a wise choice since it would require much more powerful hardware to render at 60 fps.
Anyways full 4K versions will coming soon and as always be available in the monthly art packs - TWITTER-COMET-STAR-PACK
