There is only 1 other idea I had. (and this is the weirdest) That being the slime makes the host "pregnant" with their old body as the base DNA, and they have full control over it and everything about it

And while my idea will sound weirder, I like the though that as a slime one could enter an individual, and possess them. then morphing the body of the host how they please once fully possessed. I think that'd be even funnier (even though weird and hot too)
