Yeah her name is Erica Hahn. WIth Bailey’s pregnancy I think she was probably quite far along when she revealed it. I don’t know if it makes the timeline work or not but I believe the words she used were “I’m pregnant you blind moron” so she was probably already showing when we found out. She also knew it was a boy already at the time I believe. I’m not sure if it’s just because i hate them both but something about watching George and Izzie just makes me uncomfortable. They just don’t have the chemistry in my opinion. I do really enjoy that Mark and Derek are friends again. Maybe they buried the hatchet too fast but i’m fine with it. After Addison left seeing them continue to fight wouldn’t have felt the same i don’t think. The doctors should have cut the dress in half. Technically neither let’s go and they can move them both to treat them. Much more entertaining to have George hold it though i’ll give them that. You know it does feel like there’s a difference between awake brain surgery and awake heart surgery but when you asked “why not” to “they’re not the same” i couldn’t really put my finger on why. Maybe just because there’s not much blood in the skull or at least that’s my perception it feels more like surgery through a door in the skull compared to heart surgery which feels more “messy”. I feel like Hahn has a point with Webber inviting Derek and Mark on a trip. Lots of sexism or racism especially in a workplace does come from things like being excluded from things because you don’t fit in the “social group”. Good to see her get an invite after that. It does make me laugh though that she mentions she was the only attending not going, which means we’re expected to believe there’s only 3 full surgeons at this entire hospital. Izzie did well in the surgery. I think Cristina realised when she saw the bird picture that Izzie put up that there’s more to being a surgeon than just being the best person with the knife. The best surgeon would probably be a mix of both Izzie and Cristina though realistically.

People run down a steep hill side tripping, rolling, falling, tumbling, getting bruises, cuts and breaking bones in a contest to get a 25 pound wheel of cheese. Weird. Glad to see Torres feeling better and getting over her heart rejected. Izzy did good this episode with the bird guy. Shan “Then just Starfish.” OMG unexpected and hilarious. Ok episode nothing special though.
