Grey's Anatomy S03E12 - Six Days: Part 2 FULL REACTION

Comments

Mae Whitman (Heather Douglas) is a child star, at 8 yrs old she played Patricia Whitmore (the first daughter) in Independence Day movie. One of my favorite characters she played was, Amber Holt; in Parenthood tv series alongside Lauren Graham (Lorelei Gilmore). A magazine cover had Alexis Bledel, Mae Whitman and Lauren Graham in the centre, “My two tv daughters finally meet and the result is priceless.”

Most episodes at the start of Grey's Anatomy take place over one or two days, and the next episode starts the following day. There is also no time jump between seasons, so the timeline makes sense. Season 1: About 2 months Season 2: 6 to 7 months Season 3: About 4 months I won't go into too much detail but at a certain point, they do get to where one season is one year.

I get so much second hand embarrassment watching Addison and Alex. Bailey was right to make it so Izzy couldn't scrub in, what she did was incredible, but once again crossed the line.... getting her back into the exact situation she was with Denny. I love Callie and Addie's friendship. Toxic, that's a good way to describe Addie and Mark's relationship. It could also be used to describe Christina and Burke's relationship. Yes, Burke does suck so much. When I first watched this episode i appreciated Christina and George's conversation, i thought it was good writing. The first time i watched it after my Dad died... it devastated me, and i realized she was completely right. As much as people try to sympathize it is something you can't understand until you experience it, and it still doesn't feel real that he is gone, that i exist without him. I spent most of my teenage years expecting my mum (who is still alive almost thirteen years after Dad died but very sick and currently in hospital) to die, but when my dad died it was completely unexpected, and I wasn't remotely close to prepared for how it felt, how it effected me, how it still effects me.

The timeline on this show always confuses me. Addison joined at the end of season 1, now we're in season 3 which would usually be 2-3 years, but it's been 8 months since she had her abortion which was before she left New York. Doesn't really matter I suppose, I just find it a bit confusing sometimes. I think Bailey absolutely made the right decision by not letting Izzie go into that surgery. It's a really nice thing she did paying for the surgery though. I think it made an interesting moment too, with Bailey being too emotionally attached to George's dad later in the episode. It's not black and white, as much as I think she probably made the right decision regarding Izzie considering her history. You're right, Mark could absolutely have changed if he had a kid. While I don't think he's perfect in any way, I do think he gets the short end of the stick sometimes with stuff. Has a life that many people would love to have, yet still has these big things missing in his life that he feels like he needs. Probably a bit of a situation where he feels like he can't complain much about stuff either because to everyone else it looks like he has the perfect life so nobody would take him seriously. Yes, I absolutely hate Burke. Just his whole demeanour and ego and everything really pisses me off, so it's not hard for me to dislike him even more in this storyline and take Cristina's side. Yeah there's no way those ear plugs made much of a difference, but at the same time they had to find a way to have them sleep in the same bed without it being obviously visual I suppose for if/when they need scenes there in the future.
