To be fair, if you were in Karen’s shoes and you helped put Kingpin in prison twice and now he is the mayor would you really wanna uproot ur life in SF to come fight a guy who you put away twice and it did nothing.
There is really no room for Foggy’s parents in this show and honestly what would that really add?
I think the biggest thing you might be missing is this is not Daredevil season 4. It is a new show but with canon to the previous show.
Ik it is hard but Constantly comparing it to the original is only gonna ruin this show for you. IMO This is the best Disney+ show ever and we are 3 episodes in
PS: I also really like the intro I don’t get the hate

Shan is going to have a really hard time reading that long block of text. If you want to help her out, you could space it out into paragraphs.

I for one actually like seeing Matt do his lawyer job for a change and do it well cause its been 7 years since the OG show & I don't need em to fill in every little gap and be a copy and paste for what the Netlflix show was.
The tension between Fisk and Vanessa I am enjoying cause we never seen it before and she was gone for 2 years of the show till she got married only for Fisk to be in prison again so I like seeing the actress stretch her wings more and there fulfilling the little bit we saw in S3 of her wanting to be involved and Fisk being uncomfortable with it.
Daredevil is always on par with Spiderman for acrobatic ability and he does use his billyclub to swing around in the comics and cartoons it’s the normal the Netflix show just didn't do that cause of budget.
We never saw Matt do his job much before in S2 he was between Frank, Elecktra, the Hand and the Frank trial he had one good speech then was absent from the rest while Foggy had to pick up the slack cause Matt was involved with Elecktra stuff half the time.
S3 he forgoes his Matt Murdock identity so I'm happy to see him representing a vigilante and doing his job well, and while I do feel Cherry is a replacement for Karen I don't wanna see Karen going into a drug place to get info when that's not her job to begin with, she would have gotten herself into more trouble and had to have been rescued by someone least Cherry is an Ex cop, knows the environment and knows how to handle himself and I don't want the Matt being Daredevil thing again to be rushed like if he was DD again in episode 2 after Foggy's death it'd feels cheap, him not being Daredevil for a year because of Foggy's death and nearly killing Bullsye makes sense he had a whole talk with kingpin about it in Ep.1
I love how there teasing Punisher coming in I cant wait to see how Frank responds to police wearing his logo cause that is a IRL thing cops have been doing its messed up

To be fair its been 7 years since the original show and Bullsye knows who Matt is he heard Kingpin and Matt talking as he was on the ground in S3 after his back was broken. I don't need them to fill in the time gap of every little thing like Bullsye is an Assasin my question is who hired him to kill Foggy or did he just do it to get to Matt ? & Rip to White tiger actor cancer in 2023

Okay so here’s my problem with this episode and season so far.
No Karen, this is a woman who dedicated her life to putting Kingpin in jail and now he’s mayor of NYC she doesn’t care anymore.
Why is Bullseye going after Foggy when last time we saw him Kingpin broke his back.
The death of Foggy, the time jump, and zero interaction with the supporting cast over Foggys death, I wanted the emotional fallout of seeing him tell Foggys fiancé and parents.
White Tigers death feels like a way to get Matt back to be being DareDevil again, which will have a knock on effect of making Fisk Kingpin (lite) again.
The theme tune of this show is very symbolic of what Born Again is, a pale imitation of what came before it.

I doubt it was actually Frank. Remember last episode where one of the cops Matt confronted had the Punisher tattoo? It's most likely the same scenario.

I really enjoyed this episode, however I don’t get how the cop who got face slammed into the floor last episode is now perfectly fine with just a little bruised face, I think it would have made more sense if he got put in the hospital from that at the very least.
Also I’m pretty mixed on Matt outing Hector as the White Tiger without consulting him, I don’t know if that’s really in character of him to do.
Despite that, I still enjoyed the courtroom stuff and I was sad when Hector got killed at the end, and I’m curious to see whether that was Frank or just some cop wearing his symbol

I understand you want to see Daredevil, but we can't deny Matt's lawyer side. And I also don't want Matt's return to feel rushed. White Tiger's death, I feel, is the perfect catalyst to get Matt to return to Daredevil. While I think it is repetitive with Matt giving up being Daredevil, I think this is more believable then with Electra. Matt tried to kill Bullseye. He felt he didn't deserve to be him anymore. And Matt needs the push to return. I think new showrunners are condensing the original plan. Matt was supposed to have many cases for everyday people more returning to Daredevil. Here, I think we will get only one episode of Matt representing the people, another vigilante no less, seeing the system failed him, and returning as Daredevil.
I also still think Foggy's death was the right call. I've seen so many people saying they could've found another way to get Matt to try and kill Bullseye and give up being Daredevil, like putting Foggy in a coma or him nearly dying. But that's not enough. That wouldn't push Matt over the edge, and it would be an insult to Bullseye as a marksman who never misses that he just happens to have killed Foggy when everyone else has died when he shot them.
