I suspected Aoyama was the informant in Season 4, in the episode he stalked Deku before telling him they had something in common: their quirks are incompatible with their bodies. Most people who inherit quirks don’t have this problem, so I thought Aoyama might not have inherited his quirk naturally, and that could only mean he got it from All For One.

2025-03-09 11:17:23 +0000 UTCI'm glad something finally came of that plot thread. IIRC the possibility of a traitor was briefly mentioned back in season 3 after the attack on the training camp. I don't remember it ever being brought up again after that. I wasn't expecting Aoyama to be the traitor, but the moment in the woods might make more sense now that we know about him. Dabi noticed him briefly then got distracted and moved off without attacking. He'd used his navel laser, so Dabi could have know not to attack based on that. My first thought was that it was Monoma(the guy that can copy quirks). He's hyper competitive and really doesn't like class A. Eri even mistook him for a villain the first time she saw him. Aside from Bakugo, I'd say he's the one that acts the most villain-like at UA. Always talking down to Class A and highlighting the slightest mistake any of them make.
