I love Bob Picardo's comedic delivery in this episode; he's always great at that. I can understand Woolsey's reluctance to not disclose that he's seeing someone who isn't there; especially given the circumstances. His father had alzheimer's; so he's probably predisposed to having some concern about having alzheimer's or dementia at some point in his own life. But then on top of that, he's fighting for his job with an organization that is cutthroat and a representative looking for any reason to recommend his removal. It may not be the most rational or responsible decision, but how often does the average person try to convince themselves they're not getting sick when they start coming down with the flu or something; and don't accept it until it's undeniable? Hell, I've been watching you for like 5 or 6 years now, and I only find out today that you're a figment of the imagination. Kind of obvious in hindsight, I guess. We're not even that imaginative; only hallucinating you from the shoulders up. Apologies for being so short sighted...
