To be fair that can be considered conjecture, if I wasn’t spoiled I wouldn’t have considered it until maybe season 5 when the family started talking about Toya

2025-01-18 00:14:58 +0000 UTC1. Starting way back, when we got our first glimpses of Shoto's past back in the Sports Festival Tournament Arc, we saw that he had 3 siblings. We were quickly introduced to Fuyumi, the sister, after that. Natsuo, the brother, admittedly took a while to make a full appearance in the present. But his face was shown to us clearly in the flashback. That left the other brother, who not only had his back to us the whole time so we couldn't see his face, but his hair was red, like Endeavour's, and that of Shoto's fire side, implying that he probably inherited the fire Quirk. 2. And soon after that, Dabi showed up. And while we've now seen other people with fire Quirks, Dabi was the first other character we saw with fire powers at that point, and he remained the only one for a while. 3. During the Training Camp Arc (back in Season 3), which was where we first saw Dabi in action, there was a moment where he taunted Shoto after he failed to save Bakugo, referring to him by his full name, which he didn't do with any of the other students. 4. When Dabi confronted Endeavour after his fight with the High-End Nomu, he also referred to Endeavour by his full name, which none of us had ever known before. To Endeavour, it probably wasn't a big deal since, in-universe, his identity was probably publicly known. But to the viewers, it was the first time Endeavour's real name was revealed, and because it was said by Dabi, it made us suspicious. 5. Then, of course, they were all the physical similarities that people noticed. Dabi's eyes were the same shade of blue as Endeavour's and Shoto's. And his hair style was similar to Endeavour's 6. And there was all the mystery surrounding Dabi's true identity even before this arc. When he was first introduced, Dabi refused to share his real name. Later, when the heroes raided their bar hideout just before All For One showed up (also in Season 3, after the training camp), all the villains' real names were revealed to have been uncovered by the heroes beforehand, except, strangely, for Dabi's. And so on, et cetera. I know none of this specifically pointed to him being a Todoroki, but the fact that there was so much emphasis on not revealing who he was meant that he was most likely connected to someone important. And with all the other clues, the prime suspect was clear.
