I was curious so I looked, they do have honeymoon suites in Australia. You asked "What was that?" It was a handheld document scanner. But they were not that easy to use back then. Had to hold against document, and SLOWLY drag across. Even then, distortions were common. That was the second time in this series Clark used his x-ray vision to look at a Lois. Change his name to SuperPerv. Perry's source "Sore throat" is a play on the real life undercover information source in the President Nixon scandal called "Deep Throat". Yeah the couch bomb was silly. 1. It went off right after they returned but it showed it was on a timer, how did they know exactly when they would get back to their room? 2. Why didn't it destroy the entire couch? On a timer the only blew upward, it would have hurt anyone, as no one was sitting there until Clark saw it. 3. Even the music they played as it happened was cartoonish. This show does have some really good moments, but it also is very bad at times.
