In a show where Jesse Manes exists, it's shocking that he is not the person I hate the most. Liz's mom wins that competition. Arturo, on the other hand, is great. I always enjoy it when he's around. I liked this episode mostly because I enjoyed the performances put on by Jeanine (Liz) and Amber (Rosa). Their relationship is probably my favorite in the show.

2024-12-13 03:20:44 +0000 UTCNot gonna lie, I'm kind of glad that Rosa still has a problem with Max, as I talked about in my long comment a few episodes ago, I understood why she had problems with him and I was a little worried they were just going to have her be suddenly alright with him, like they've done with other things in the show. I kind of loved you calling the mom out for the friends and family discount line, I was like yes, that's a great response to her. The mom shows up after being gone for so long and the first thing she does after the discount is blackmail, cool, that's just great, mother of the year. I like Rosa trying to be the big sister and take care of Liz, even though she's the little sister now? Wait! What about Kyle...abducted!? Wow, Max got his job back easy, didn't she just suspect him of murder? Oh, right, Max is back, someone who would care that Cameron disappeared, that's great. Well, Kyle is still at the hospital, so I guess he was abducted some other time or something. That was a kind of weird and aggressive conversation with Kyle and the girl he likes, did I just imagine she was in surgery in the last episode. Yeah, not going to say anything about the ghost comments, cause spoilers. Driving well drunk, the mom sounds like she was great, glad she's sober now though, I guess. Ok, so she was in surgery in the last episode, Kyle's just doing the whole pretend I don't know something that I know thing, cool. I don't like the mom, I'm all for people getting clean and sober, for getting help and forgiveness, but she got them to the dinner by blackmail and she's being so pushy. Wow, trying to make excuses, pass the blame and take credit for their success, great, yeah I stand by my statement, I DO NOT LIKE THE MOM. To quote Liz "Don't come back" I love Max getting the ring back. So it was a premonition, also not an abduction...ouch glass in the stomach. I don't dislike the girl that Kyle likes, but I also don't like her. I want to know what's up with her being in surgery last episode, I feel like it might explain why she's so angry. I'm glad Max is looking into Cameron. Micheal has someone helping him look into the past now with Isobel. Rosa is really struggling right now, I hope she can find some hope and believe in herself soon. I feel like the struggle is realistic and well done though, with how bad of a place she's in right now, with the powers she doesn't know how to control, with the trauma of being killed and brought back, having Max in her head, having to be in hiding cause she's not supposed to be alive, having her terrible mother come back. It would be very hard to be in a place to stay clean and not relapse. But like I said, I really hope she can make it there soon, somehow. Also, side note, I already liked Liz and Rosa's father, but this episode made me like him even more.
