I didn't understand that Style and Bison were getting into the jail as teachers, but that makes so much sense from the preview. Thanks for running it back and breaking it down. That thing First does where he smiles through his tears literally kills me. How is he so good?? FInally, I spent that whole ep imagining the police following them to make sure they didn't try to run and reporting back on what they were doing. "Um, sir, they're dressed in inflatable astronaut costumes." "Roger that. Over here, they've just walked into an abandoned rec center."

2025-02-07 00:35:54 +0000 UTCI cracked up several times at your face journey in this ep, e.g. at Kant's out of the blue Milky Way line (nooooooo unconfirmed but sources are saying First improvised that - wtf is wrong with you bro?!) - they're just having a nice little moment and then WHAM titties! It was like last ep - gentle hand holding and then WHAM finger sucking! I guess no amount of angst or foreboding can stop them from being freaky, bless. But Bison deliberately making the kid cry was perhaps my favourite moment in the whole ep! I also just need to direct everyone's attention to this gifset which has restored the correct dialogue to the Captain confrontation scene: https://www.tumblr.com/kantpattanawat/774684377965805569/i-fixed-some-dialogue-idk?source=share I know he's terrible but I kinda love him, or at least the actor's line delivery, case in point his perfect 'um WHAT now?!' in the preview! Or him checking his watch while the criminals are wasting time being gay and sentimental. And I'm still so fascinated by his relationship with Kant (who I swear to god checked him out for a millisecond when he emerged in the towel?! Why DO they always meet up in avowedly homoerotic locations??) - it has so much potential to be so complex and messed up! If the show had been a few eps longer, I'd have loved to see more of that fleshed (heh) out. Same for the Keen/Lilly part of the plot which, like you said, could/should have been drawn out a little longer. But I did very much enjoy a) Kant's faces when the lady was all up in his business and b) him taking his seat like it was a throne and he'd just deposed the monarch after they'd exposed Lilly - he was giving me Godfather vibes and I was very much here for it! I, too, was convinced we were ending this ep sending them to jail and then starting the next ep welcoming them back, and while I didn't mind them getting some prison time (actually think it was the right choice), I wasn't enamoured with the idea of a time skip. So I was utterly delighted by the preview - we should never have doubted Kant&Style's unique combo of unhinged, lovestruck and horny! (I've loved the emphasis on their friendship these past few eps.) But good job to all involved making Bison look as heartbreakingly young and tiny and vulnerable as possible in the mugshot scene. Also, lovely callback to the 'one last night' theme of ep 6 but this time with everyone on the same page. I have a short Kant-themed wishlist for the finale, though I don't really expect to see anything from it onscreen (that's what fic is for I guess!): 1) Kant fully breaking down and for once being the one comforted instead of doing the comforting, 2) Kant - or someone else on his behalf - punching the Captain, 3) a redo of the BDSM but this time with both parties fully sober and enthusiastic! But either way, I'm sure I'll love whatever crazy the show has left to throw at us. Can't believe it's going to be over this time next week... (Speaking of, this really would be the PERFECT time for someone to fill the gaping hole in my heart/life with Devil Judge reactions...just saying!)
