Unlock Kamen Riders in Douluo's Way Ch 91

Yin Xiaoya knew Xu Sanshi was one of the protagonists from the second-generation Douluo timeline. In the original story, Xu Sanshi possessed the Xuanming Tortoise martial soul, a mutated spirit, which later evolved into the Xuanwu and ultimately reached a golden form through the integration of a Golden Hat-Wearing Sea Dragon.

The man before Yin Xiaoya was indeed Xu Sanshi, his name, background, and the soul beast within him aligned. Except this Xu Sanshi was older, closer to forty, while at the end of the second-generation story, Xu Sanshi was only around thirty. They both came from the Dou Ling Empire, a country that was also in decline. Yet, this Xu Sanshi looked like a down-on-his-luck noble, with not a clean spot on his body.

"Hey, you guys need to consider this carefully, but let me be clear, this isn't a discussion."

As he spoke, a red light flashed from his body, revealing a red soul ring symbolizing a hundred-thousand-year level. A terrifying aura pressed down on everyone, causing even the Crystal Blue Tortoise, in suspended animation, to tremble.

The aura of a thousand-year soul beast was oppressive. Only Title Douluo, or those with equivalent spirit rings, could withstand it without difficulty. Others like Su Xuan and the Shrek students would suffer shortness of breath. The nearby onlookers, frightened, quickly dispersed to avoid being affected.

Mantis and Ankh, empowered by their unique transformations, and Yin Xiaoya, who lacked soul power, remained unfazed.

"Huh? You're really different. This aura has no effect on you."

Xu Sanshi wasn't surprised by Mantis and Ankh, but he found Yin Xiaoya perplexing. He knew Yin Xiaoya's power didn't originate from a martial soul, and that he wasn't a soul master. He must have observed Yin Xiaoya during the fight with the Crystal Blue Tortoise.

Yin Xiaoya stepped forward, positioning himself in front of Su Xuan. "Okay, put away that aura. I subdued this Crystal Blue Tortoise, so talk to me if you want something. No need to threaten them."

Xu Sanshi chuckled, retracting the spirit ring. His intention was merely to intimidate them. "You seem like a reasonable person. Fine, name your price and give it to me."

"That's impossible." Yin Xiaoya shook his head, refusing outright. He had intended to lock the tortoise in Fang Xin's Orb Dragon Mirror. If his system space could accommodate living things, he would have stored the Crystal Blue Tortoise already. He hadn't expected Xu Sanshi to appear and complicate things. If only I'd brought the kids along earlier.

Xu Sanshi's expression soured. "Are you kidding me? I thought I made it clear this wasn't a discussion, right?"

"I apologize, but giving it to you is impossible. I have my own use for it."

"So, a battle is inevitable."

Yin Xiaoya smiled. "Not necessarily. Have you noticed someone missing?"

"What?"

Xu Sanshi had focused on Yin Xiaoya and hadn't noticed anyone missing. Hearing this, he realized the blonde woman in red had vanished.

Before he could react, a puchi sound echoed. He looked down and saw a red, strange hand had pierced his waist, seemingly fiddling around.

"What?"

The sudden event shocked everyone, including Su Xuan. "That hand... is that Ankh? What is it doing?"

There was no blood, no screams. Xu Sanshi stood frozen, terrified. Yet, the soul beast inside him wasn't idle.

"Bold!"

The retracted aura surged, blasting Ankh's hand from Xu Sanshi's body. Ankh, prepared, withdrew immediately, returning to Yin Xiaoya's side unscathed.

Xu Sanshi knelt, sweating profusely, inspecting the site of the attack. There was no trace. But the awakening of the soul beast within him indicated something had happened.

He then noticed the hand return to Yin Xiaoya's side, where a large number of silver coins appeared. A red light flashed, and the blonde woman reappeared.

"You... what did you do to me?"

Ankh ignored him, raising her arm. A ding sound, a brown coin flicked to Yin Xiaoya.

Yin Xiaoya approached Xu Sanshi, showing him the coin. The pattern of a familiar beast was on the brown coin.

"You should recognize that pattern, right? I think you should thank me. Your original body couldn't have fused with the soul of that Golden Tortoise shell."

Xu Sanshi was shocked. "How could you know about the soul, about the Golden Tortoise shell…"

Yin Xiaoya smiled and stepped back. "Get up. You're fine now. You should be in a better state than before."

Xu Sanshi hesitated, but the golden tortoiseshell spirit spoke up, "He's right. Your body is better, and it fits my soul better now."

"What did you say?"

Xu Sanshi rose and activated his soul power. A look of joy spread across his face.

"How did you do it?"

"How did I do it? Don't worry about it. Let me ask you, do you still need the Crystal Blue Tortoise?"

Xu Sanshi was stunned, then released his obsession. He bowed to Yin Xiaoya. "I apologize for my earlier behavior. Consider the Crystal Blue Tortoise settled. I can't thank you enough for this. I, Xu Sanshi, will remember this. May I ask your name?"

"Yin Xiaoya, just a passing-by Kamen Rider."

"Kamen Rider, so you're the one from the rumors." Xu Sanshi nodded. "I remember. If I revive the empire, I will thank you."

He turned to leave.

"Wait."

"Is something wrong?"

"I need help finding someone. Do you know Huo Yuhao?"

Xu Sanshi stopped, thought, then shook his head. "Sorry, I've never heard of him."

"Then who taught you how to fuse souls? Electrolux?"

Since he knew the soul contract without Huo Yuhao, he must have learned it from Electrolux. After all, he was the creator of the soul contract.

"So you know even that." Xu Sanshi addressed Yin Xiaoya differently now. "Yes, I learned it from Electrolux. But I don't know him well. I obtained his relic by accident, and learned a few things from it. I don't know who he is or why he had that power."

"A relic? What did it look like?"

Yin Xiaoya seemed to know something. Xu Sanshi retrieved a small box from his storage device and handed it to Yin Xiaoya.

"This thing is evil. I could only learn about souls from it, and only things about souls were useful to me. You helped me, and I think this thing has some fate with you. I'll leave it to you."

Yin Xiaoya opened the box. Inside was a strange knife. Yin Xiaoya, familiar with the original work, recognized it.

"The Soul Devouring Knife? Is it already the gold of life? There's no aura at all... So you really don't know Huo Yuhao?"

"I really don't know. I obtained this thing unintentionally."

In this world of Douluo, the original relationships between characters are unreliable. But according to the merged first-generation characters, gathering second-generation characters wasn't impossible.

Thinking of this, Yin Xiaoya returned the box to Xu Sanshi. "I'll return this to you. If you meet him, give him this knife, and introduce him to me."

He had promised Emperor Yan to find someone. If Huo Yuhao was also in this time-space-distorted world, it would be ideal.

"This is not a big deal, Xu Sanshi agreed without hesitation."

After he left, Su Xuan, with a questioning expression, approached. She looked at Ankh, then at Yin Xiaoya.

"Well, can you explain what's going on?"

Yin Xiaoya didn't answer immediately. "Su Xuan, and Shrek teachers, do you know what a soul is?"

After looking at each other, they shook their heads.

"Yeah, I really have to start from this place..."
