Derideal 14 - 18-19-20 WIP+BLOG

This episode is interesting to read for me, I hope you're also having a good time reading and finding the surprises I included in the episode. I've always a little proud about how this damn story never goes the way readers expect it (for better or worse).

Physical pain isn't much of a punishment for Alpha, since basically becomes immune to it when a certain level of damage received... C.WALLY was simple in his attempt to hurt Aden, Daniel was naive thinking he could achieve a "balance" , keep the xenos forever blind and try to just take care of them enough for them to have a good life as long they serve their purpose... but Dr. Orozco is after something else, and she's probably figured that Alpha isn't immune to psychological damage ahah.

to me this part of the story is more "edgy" because it's much more about emotions, feelings and manipulation, and it's not just raw "pain", it's a different type of torture.

I feel kinda bad Alpha has to endure so much shit, like, everything is always against him...

resorting to things like "control chips" would be so much easy, right? but Derideal isnt' about "adventures", "fantastic sci-fi and technology". The focus of the series is more centered around biology, memories and promises...

I was very interested by the "conditioning" proposed in the Dune book series, the first time I read about it in the book it catch all my attention, and since forever it was part of Alpha's destiny to also endure this stage of the experiment, but if the scientists are succesfull, I guess Project Prime and X-E-N comic series become possible too, kinda sad to think about it, I mean, jus KEEP reading, this thing will become more interesting, as I was desperated to find my way around a story planned for so many episodes and I just had to get "there" more quickly if I ever wanted to move on.

I think I might have messed up the order of the pages, but I'm not sure, I check my archive but the numbers of the files doesn't match with the name of the updates xd... maybe I added a page or skipped one but I can't remember at the time.
