Space Dog
Added 2025-08-20 00:01:03 +0000 UTCThis has to be one of my favourite things I've ever painted, so I wanted to post the main image from my new commission sheet and some close-ups here for you guys
I've found that I do really well with painting with a hatching technique. I've tried other methods to create volumes when I paint, but none have been as good for me as doing this. I have to be careful not to make the textures too scratchy or too smooth, and I feel like I went a bit more on the "too smooth" side. Still, I'm super satisfied with how it turned out and I look forward to painting more in the future
Also I think I'd like to bring this particular space dog concept further and make more art based on it
