Added 2023-08-16 12:41:54 +0000 UTCLately I'd been playing MGSV and watched Sorcerer (1977) which got me into appreciating a sort of military & tropical aesthetic. (The general or his troops aren't modeled after anything specific though)
Myra was raised at the center of a religious cult, hence the white dress to indicate her purity and so on. It doubles as a wedding dress too of course...
