Brief Update on Build 0.5.10 (Update 1)

Welcome to another weekly build update, covering what I'm planning to work on this as part of the upcoming build. Last week I had to cover some home repairs (followed by some emergency home repairs), so only a small amount of progress was made. I've also been thinking of making a minor change to how I do these updates, highlighting the key feature of the upcoming build, and then covering the things that are higher/lower on the development priority list.
Once again, this build I'm planning on heavily focusing on the Slave School intro. My plans for the Slave School content, both the intro and general content are as follows:

Slave School General
The Slave School will be a new complex location where players will be able to get decent amounts of experience (less than direct training) in their skills for free, along with also being able to pick up qualifications which may help them in jobs or their pricing at the final auction. It features a huge cast of characters, including a significant amount of other people on the Repurposed Trainee Programme (and a few slaves in general). This means a lot of fun new interactions and opportunities, as these characters are not anchored down to shops and services.
Players will have to visit the Slave School in the morning if they want to go there for the school day (in the first work/date/training slot), and the school day covers the first and second work/date/training time slots along with the sandbox time slot in between. This gives the player enough time for; lesson 1, breaktime, lesson 2, lunchtime, lesson 3.
Further, after the school day is over, the school is still open for the final work/date/training time slot of the day for extracurricular activities and clubs. Players may also receive detention as part of their time at the Slave School, which in turn will take up this same time slot. One of the things which can cause players to get detention is to not wear an appropriate outfit to school, though there will be other opportunities to get in trouble too.

As you can see, classes follow a 5 day loop, where each class is featured twice. In every timeslot, the player can choose whichever of the 3 options they want (though an option will exist which chooses for them if you prefer a little more surprise). Day 3 also has the testing slot, where players will be given new qualifications.
Lessons will generally have slightly randomised descriptions, along with potential random school encounters (generally the same chance as a random travel encounter). Some school encounters will be generic, able to occur in most classes, other school encounters will be specific to certain classes (for example PE, Art, Drama - basically more unique classes).

Slave School Intro
The Slave School intro day will be a long and involved string of scenes which will take up the entire day for the player. There will be multiple choices which will have an impact on their time at the school, along with a few more basic choices that only are to do with the day itself. The following run-down of the plan for the first day will contain some spoilers, so if you want to go in blind then you might want to skip further down past the spoiler tags.

Upon arriving, players will meet Miss Sadie, who will explain the very basic school rules to them. She will also provide the player with a school uniform of their choice out of a selection of 4 (though the selection will vary based on the fem/masc focus option the player has set). It is also during this that players will be given a list of options related to the school content so you can customize your experience a little more.
Miss Sadie will also take the first class, which will continue the introduction of the school while also introducing some of the new school characters. Due to the amount of characters their introductions will be spread across the day.
After that players will have their first breaktime, during which Baylee the cheerleader will come up to them, offering to become their roommate. She will be rather pleasant and cheerful, but some perceptive players (based on their conversational skill level or larceny skill level) might be able to tell that she's more planning to mooch off of them rather than be a contributing roommate. It's up to the player whether they accept her offer (there will be opportunities to turn the tables later if they do).
The next lesson is with Miss Kimberly, who is somewhat of a ditz, and will do some basic introductions between the new class (with different new people). There will be an opportunity to catch a look up her dress if the player chooses to, prompted by Celeste a slutty popular girl, a decision which will partially determine what she thinks of you.
Next comes lunch, where the player will end up in a confrontation by Artyom (a thug bully guy) and Jenny (a tough punk girl) who are causing trouble for Catarina (a friendly laid-back girl). Players can either stand up to them, make a deal with them, talk them down, ignore them, or help them bully Catarina.
After lunch players have another introductory class with Mr Gavin, getting introduced to the next lump of your classmates. You'll get a mysterious note half-way through class telling you to do some things, and it's up to the player whether they accept. In this class the task will be pretty simple, more about keeping your legs spread under the desk. If you follow through with it, you'll find out the teacher Mr Gavin sent it, and that he's willing to help you out in exchange for favours like that.
Next you have a quick session with Coach Carson, who will have the class do the last few introductions and then some exercise. If you do well then he'll mention joining some of the sports teams.
Finally, players will meet the last teacher, Mistress Togoshi Hina, who is usually the schools sex teacher. However, as they didn't want to complicate the first day, Mistress Hina will be instead be overseeing the introductory test for the Slave School, which will determine the players current academic attainment. Players who have ABDL content selected can end up being flunked into the ABDL Kindergarten class as a result of this - for most players it won't have much of an impact.
After that it's the end of the first Slave School day (a longer one than normal too). Players will be met up by certain relevant characters as they leave, saying goodbye, coming with them, or throwing some mean comments there way.

My primary goal of this build is;
Slave School Intro - Occurring sometime over the first few days within the player's stay at the facility the player will be invited to spend a day to be introduced to the Slave School. To attend the Slave School players will have to set off in the first work/training/dating time slot of the day, with the visit taking up the majority of the day (first 2 work slots or first 3 in some instances). On the first visit players will; be introduced to their new classmates and teachers, receive a free school uniform, be tested to determine their capability, and have the Slave School explained to them (there will also be lunch). There's a lot to it, so it might be written over multiple work weeks to make sure it is just right.
As such, my other major plans for this build are;
- Slave School Framework - Whilst the major writing for this likely won't hit the build this time, I do hope to begin work on the overarching code and scene logic, allowing the player to at least get the exp bonuses and go through the standard class schedule.
- Info Boxes - After having added in the basic options set for the info boxes and set up the exp portion of that info system for players to view, I still need to work on the quest information boxes and item gain information boxes.
- Fem/Sissy Trainer - If possible I'd like to continue work on the the Sweet Sissy path of the Fem/Sissy Trainer. The next encounter will be the player visiting their first ballet session, which will be an embarrassing experience for them. It may also end in a more sexual encounter with Laura depending on how the player acts.
Low priority content that I might get around to (or at least that I'm keeping in the back of my mind) includes;
- Player Scene Images Overhaul - This one has been on the back burner for a while, but down various content paths I've saved up a selection of alternate images featuring the male and or female player stand-in. My hope is to change the code to allow players to select whether they see these images or not, but also select whether they only see one gender version of the images, and also be able to select whether it only shows the appropriate image to the player's current genital situation.
- Secretary Job Start - I've been trying to decide which major job to work on for a while, and have settled on the secretary job as it fits in best with the upcoming school location (and the skills related to it). The secretary job will see players working for the administrative wing of the facility, having to please to different bosses, an ageing lecherous male professor, and a demanding foreign female diplomat. Eventually, players will have to decide which of the two to work for exclusively.
- Add New Outfits & Underwear - I've got a few big batches of underwear and outfits still to add to the game. I've been putting them off mostly because I want to get the clothing reclassification done first, but if I can get that done I'll start adding these too. The clothing sets I have saved up include; Pet-Play themed outfits, Hucow themed outfits, degrading/prostitution outfits, some sexy outfits, clothing for the Fem/Sissy Trainer content. There is also a big batch of general underwear images.
- Underwear Store - Seeing as I've got a lot of new underwear images to add to the game, and so far only one real underwear store (that also sells other clothes), I've decided to create a second underwear store for the game. The new store and its owner are already featured in the Fem/Sissy Trainer content for those who are curious.
- Slave Catching Intro - This is a lower priority, but I'd like to start at least working towards the basic framework for the catching side of the slave capture and training system. To start this, the first scene will introduce some of the major NPC's related to slave capture, sale, and training.
