That song is called 25 to Life but the version that's on the soundtrack has a bunch of rappers on it. But the original song Wake up everybody is by Harold Melvin and the blue notes. The original is so much better I recommend you find that.

He passed away around 2003 timeframe from a stroke. You should react to the following movies: Boomerang (It also starrs Eddie Murphy & Martin Lawrence) What’s The Worst That Could Happen (It starrs Martin Lawrence & Bernie Mac) Mr. Church (It starrs Eddie Murphy, it’s a heartfelt movie) The song played in the beginning is called New Day by Wyclef Jean. Can’t Get Right was played by Bokeem Woodbine. He was in Dead Presidents as well. He’s the one who snitched on them.
