About this page general comment:
I wanted to achieve a "light" moment, the comic is always full of dark and sad parts, so I've been trying to give you some "contrast" pages with Aden and Laura lately, their latest pages have more light, more blue, more greens and looks more serene... is you compare them with the ones with C.WALLY in the same episode.
also, this is a very important escene, as we finally have some more hints about Laura's life and how she feels, she's very introverted in general, and I wasn't sure how to write her better, so she suffered the most in this remake... I'll try to add some bonus stuff at the end of the remake to add a little more layers to Laura I think, but I'm not sure yet.

as most stuff I do, it starts with a pencil sketch of the page that I layout in a digital format and adjust to fit the digital size I use for pages.
Lineart for this page was super simple! it's mostly the characters.
Flat colors for the characters and I decided to "paint" the background with lights effects, seemed like the faster way. I also re-used a panel background from the previous page =P
see? just light effects and more grandients and blurry lights for this one, I really wanted the characters to be the focus and surrounded by "mood" blurry lights, since this is a more "light" scene... these pages follow a bluish lights and look less scary then usual..
do you have any doubts about this process?
