Major Issues: Update Evening
Added 2022-02-22 00:42:31 +0000 UTCOkay. So we had Appliance fail and it flooded my house, we have professionals drying out the house now and throwing out the flooring.
It should be okay. We have insurance. None of my equipment or things were damaged. Everyone is okay.
I took the day to clean up a lot of the water, using a shop vac, Hopefully everything dries out fine and quickly so can repair. I can still work, when I can. Because honestly making things is super important to me, and it stresses me out when I can't.
Just physically and mentally drained.

Sad to hear about the damage but at least you’re looking on the bright side 🤗 Hoping that all your hopes come true 😇 Take your time getting back, we want you happy more than we want you to feel pressured to finish work 😘Be happy and hopefully everything works out 🥰

2022-02-22 05:49:20 +0000 UTCOh man, water issues are the worst. I hope it was "clean water" i.e. not sewage. Clean water is a much easier process as things can be salvaged. With "dirty water" just about anything it touches has to be thrown out. Here's hoping your remediation and restoration goes quickly and smoothly. <3

2022-02-22 04:55:57 +0000 UTCBummer. Did it fail because of the cold or was it just faulty?

2022-02-22 03:06:57 +0000 UTCDamn, that sucks. My dad and I had something similar happen a couple years ago, so I know how much of an inconvenience that sort of thing is. Word to the wise, make sure you stay on top of what the Insurance Company is doing at all times. They live to spend as little as possible, which means they will buy the cheapest version of everything they can get away with, which includes the workers who do the drying and installation.

2022-02-22 01:03:07 +0000 UTCUgh, flooding sucks. Hopefully you can not only get things fixed, but find a way to make sure it's unlikely to happen again.

2022-02-22 00:57:09 +0000 UTCThat really sucks. Sorry that you had to go through that. Hope that things get taken care of easily. Let us know if there’s anything we can do.

2022-02-22 00:52:49 +0000 UTCGlad you're okay, and yea that would do it. Only thing I can suggest is once the immediate disaster is resolved and there's nothing that's an active danger is to do some self-care, breathe, figure out if you can do any upgrades because of this...involuntary opportunity to remodel...and get everything fixed as quickly as you can and as completely as you can. Good luck to you, and fingers crossed.

2022-02-22 00:52:46 +0000 UTCUgh, we had a river backup into our basement when I was a kid. Took months to get everything fully restored. Hopefully, your stuff gets fixed fast.

2022-02-22 00:46:10 +0000 UTCHey,... totally understand. Your place of solace has been affected. Do what you need to do for your sanity and health mate. We will all be right here when you've got everything in order. Please do what's best for you to be at 100%. It would be unfair/inhumane of us to ask otherwise, especially before you feel good enough to produce content again. You don't know me but love you and hope everything gets better.

2022-02-22 00:46:04 +0000 UTCWell it's good that no major damages happened and you don't have to push yourself to make content when you're dealing with these huge issues. We can understand if you want to take a break to sort things out.
